Summary

The second season of the quirky comedy opens with Jimmy and Gretchen forced to live together while trying to navigate their relationship. This proves to be a daunting task, especially after Jimmy gets a commission to write a novel and Gretchen starts spiraling down into depression. In the meantime, Lindsay and Paul are dealing with their own marital issues; Paul moves out of their home and tries to start a new life with another woman, while Lindsay can't accept the separation and tries to use the smitten Edgar to her to make her husband jealous. Vernon and Becca prove to be great couple.
